Meet Rachel Closser
Initially from Hannibal, MO, she moved to the Lake St. Louis, MO region in 2017, as she earned her Family Nurse Practitioner, Masters in Science degree from St. Louis University. Proceeding graduation Rachel underwent extensive vascular surgery training under the direction of Dr. Robert Hacker and has since been in collaboration with him, as a Vascular Surgery, Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner.
Rachel finds vascular surgery very intriguing, as the specialty involves every part of the human body and each patient can have a unique set of problems that’s specific to them. She is well versed in diagnosing and managing both common and complex vascular conditions, as well as chronic and post-operative wound care and limb preservation issues.
A passion for aesthetic care
Aside from Vascular surgery, Rachel has a passion for providing aesthetic skin care, where she has brought her medical expertise to the ever evolving world of Aesthetic Medicine. She is dedicated to combining the art of aesthetics and the science of healthcare, to empower patients to feel confident in their own skin and to bring out the best version of themselves. Rachel has advanced aesthetic skin care training that allows her to perform noninvasive surgical skin care treatments using microneedling combined with radio frequency and Intense pulsed light therapy (IPL) modalities on both the face and body, as well as intradermal facial injectables. She uses a specialized approach in delivering natural, more youthful enhancements, while providing facial rejuvenation.

Aside from Rachel’s professional life, she has a husband, two daughters and a Siberian husky named Loki. She loves spending time with her family, being outdoors, traveling and enjoying the Lake life. She is always up for an adventure!
